David was the initial inspiration for Mundill. Dave spends most of his time juggling his day job, his family and his involvement in Mundill. His vision for the future of the team and his passion for racing keep the team motivated and on track. When you see him at the races his is often networking with teams, race fans and potential sponsors, and in the past has even jumped behind the wheel of one of the team cars for his racing fix.

Jeff Hill

Jeff Hill, the other driving force behind the creation of Mundill, has worn many hats in his life. His experience in the Marine Corps, as a physics professor and as a race mechanic, all work together to provide the skills needed to run the team and engineer the cars. No matter what role he is playing, he strives to be the best.

Eric Russell

Eric Russell has been with the team since its very first event. Starting as a student through Mundill’s internship program with the Texas A&M SAE program, he quickly proved himself an asset to the team. He took on a lead mechanic role at the races during the 2007 season and worked his way up to become a full time mechanic in the Mundill shop. When not at the shop or the races he is pursuing a mechanical engineering degree.

Hunter Wright

Hunter Wright was introduced to Mundill through the Texas A&M SAE program and became an intern during the 2007 race season. He worked part time at the shop while he was in school and was hired full time when he graduated from A&M’s Mechanical Engineering program in May of 2008. After spending a season as a lead mechanic, Hunter is easily transitioning into the role of Engineer.

Michael Conn

Mike has 5+ years of experience working on Pro Formula Mazdas and has been with Mundill either full time or part time since mid-2007. He has a passion for racing and for cars in general that is evident in his enthusiasm for the job. His desire to be involved in motorsports has led him to work for teams and drivers that have competed in SCCA, Star Mazda, MX-5 Cup, Speed World Challenge GT Car, IMSA Cup and Formula Atlantic.
